This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Idiots. At least the U.S. government won't put them to death like the governments of some countries.

I was told once that hash was collected by utilizing naked women with oiled bodies running through the fields. Any thoughts on that?

Can you be sure it was women and not men? What parts of the body was the hash scraped from? It certainly makes me want to not smoke it.

Of course, this was forty years ago. It's possible a newer method of collection is now used.

heh,funny....no,hash is made by leeching the oils and cannabinoids and thc and such out of pot and pot leaves....the easiest way is to get high alcohol content grain alcohol(190 proof everclear is good),and soaking the pot buds and leaves until it turns dark green, removing the solids, then pouring it into a bowl, letting the alcohol evaporate, and scraping it with a razor....bam,hash....if you scraped a naked persons body after they ran through a pot field, you would get dirt and sweat and such, not hash.....funny story though,i got a laugh from yer comment!(there are more involved ways to cheaply make large quantities, also, but i wont get into those....the involved large presses and such)

actually what your talking about is hash oil or honey oil as we call it in Canada. I've spent some time in nelson BC so I know a little. There are lots of ways to make hash. Like your lower grade pressed hash which is usually done by filtering marijuana trichromes from the mass using screens and then pressing it into a brick. usually hard and crumbly do to a high content of leaf matter. I prefer ice water extraction which uses ice water as medium and then multiple layered bags with screens at the bottom. It gives a nice soft maleable hash like putty. Now traditionally hash was rubed. you just rub the plants eventually hash just collects on your hands. I think ascetics of shiva do that for enlightenment. There actually is hash made in the way joe cement stated Its called body hash. his details are just coloured a little. I am pretty sure they do this in jamaica.

I'd really like to know where they are coming up with these monetary values for recovered drugs from raids. I've (in the past) bought several types of street drugs... trust me, the only person that would pay over 11K for a pound of hash would have to be bill gates. I mean are they serious about these amounts? If illegal drugs were worth that much money don't you think there would be a lot more people selling them? the only way a pound of hash would be worth that much money is if it were wrapped around a substantial amount of gold. First they lie about why they outlaw it in the first place, then they inflate the monetary value of anything they confiscate to make everything sound like a major bust. No one in their right mind would pay 11000 for a pound of hash when you could get it anywhere I've ever heard of for less than 1000. The people who come up with these values are obviously completely out of touch with reality.

Drendal: probably they calculate the cost of detection, confiscation/pound of these drugs.

They are returning it or they do destroying all of it, still a mistery.  If they find the smugglers at open waters yet, its a constant job for them to return the hash, not to bring in the USA , because they would break the law themselves, plus they could be less busy to be employed if they destroy the drugs, that the smugglers might try to bring in again.
